Tiny Maerschalk, Project Manager

As project manager, Tiny draws on considerable personal experience and experience welcoming international students at the International Student Centre. Tiny moved to Denmark in 1997 from Antwerp in Belgium as an exchange student with a degree in interpreting. She also took a degree in Social Work in Denmark. In her spare time, Tiny is an ardent sailor and sailing instructor.

Having considerable experience as an accompanying spouse, Bente is the focal point of the Spouse Community, organising the meetings as well as family events. After finishing her business degree in Denmark, Bente married an American and moved abroad. 10 years later she moved back to Denmark with her husband and three young children. In her spare time, Bente enjoys spending time with family, gardening, spinning and cooking.

As director of Erhverv Aarhus, the organisation behind International Community, Bente has been one of the driving forces in establishing International Community.
In her spare time, music and hiking are some of the favorite activities.

Jesper Theil, Communications Specialist
Jesper’s role at International Community is to make sure that our brand continues to evolve and is communicated in the best way possible – whether it concerns our website, publications, PR, events etc.
In his spare time Jesper enjoys playing football and fitness training and loves to travel and explore as much of the world as possible.
