Note that representatives of Immigration Service, the State Administration for Central Jutland, Aarhus Municipal Citizens’ Services and SKAT are only available at ICS during the service's opening hours. If you have got questions outside ICS' opening hours, please, contact the respective authority directly.

How to get to ICS
Bus number 13 stops at Europaplads, and bus number 200 stops at Skolebakken. The office is approximately 10 minutes walk from the Aarhus railway station and Aarhus Central Bus Station.
When is ICS open?
Office hours:
Thurs. 1 pm. - 5 pm.
Fri. 9 am. - 1 pm.
Please note that Citizens’ Services of Aarhus Municipality will only have office hours Thursday from 3 pm. to 5 pm. and Friday from 11 am. to 1 pm. Enquiries regarding CPR number, health insurance card and other issues handled by the Citizens’ Services of Aarhus Municipality can only be processed during these hours.
International Community at ICS
ICS is at International Community’s office. When you visit the service, you will also be met by a representative of International Community, who will answer queries you may have and introduce you to our services and offers.

What to bring to ICS when applying for a Certificate of Registration (for EU/EEA and Swiss citizens)
If you are an EU citizen and need to apply for a Certificate of Registration we suggest that you print out The Application of EU Residence Document and fill in what you can before you visit ICS. This will save time at ICS, as well as giving you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the process before your meeting with a representative of the State Administration for Central Jutland.
What is ICS?
ICS is a joint initiative by International Community, Aarhus Municipality Citizens’ Services, the Danish tax agency, SKAT, the State Administration for Central Jutland, Workindenmark and Immigration Service. At ICS, representatives of the various authorities will assist you with legal documents that you are required to deal with upon arrival when moving to Denmark.

Before you go to ICS
To make your visit at ICS as efficient as possible, there are different documents you can fill out before you arrive. There are also a range of items you must remember to bring with you to ICS, depending on what you need assistance with.
What can the service assistance at ICS help you with?
At ICS you can get assistance with:
- residence permit for non-EU citizens
- registration certificate for EU citizens (for EU/EEA and Swiss citizens)
- tax card
- social security number - CPR (residents of Aarhus Municipality only)
- health insurance card
- Danish driver’s licence

At ICS you will also meet representatives of International Community who will help you deal with any other enquiries you may have.
