- Capitalise on your company’s international resources
International Community invites you to a morning seminar for companies, educational institutions and public organisations.
The next morning seminar focuses on the necessity of developing a global mindset, in order to keep pace with, and profit from, the company’s internal internationalisation and the development in the global business environment. Research shows that Danish managers struggle to keep up with both the strategic and structural globalisation of the company and valuable resources within the company are overlooked. At the morning seminar we will look at how to incorporate and create values from the many international
impulses managers are surrounded by.
We have invited Marianne Storgaard, Industrial PhD, Aarhus School of Business, Aarhus University who will give insight and input to the topic and form the basis for inspiration and discussion at the seminar.
Marianne Storgaard is completing her industrial PhD this month focusing on the global mindset and its value in companies doing cross-border business. Her research is based on interviews with managers and employees in large Danish companies operating in the global business environment. Marianne will explain why business potentials are overlooked by managers who lack a global mindset, and give insight into how this affects the organisation and its development. Marianne’s presentation will prepare the grounds for a debate on how managers can open up for a more global oriented view within the company.
